Obituary:
Sister M. Coletta born at Seelbach near Baden, Germany on June 9, 1836 entered Religion on June 21, 1866. Sister was the foundress of the original Order in Seelbach and used an upstairs room of her mother’s home for the beginning of their convent.
Sister Coletta devoted most of her Religious life to domestic work and was very fond of gardening. She was active in this capacity until several years before her death.
She had the happiness of celebrating her Golden Jubilee in 1916.
Death found her well prepared on September 21, 1918 at the age of 82 years and 3 months. Death was due to bowel obstruction and infirmities of old age.
Funeral services were held from St. Joseph Hospital chapel, Joliet on September 23, 1918. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery, Joliet.
